The combination of 3 plant-based protein sources – fava beans, peas and sunflowers – provides a complete amino acid profile including all essential amino acids (EAAs) and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs).

Through careful selection of raw materials, this protein powder boasts a particularly high protein content of 80% as well as a high biological value of the protein. We have paid special attention to the texture: unlike many plant-based protein powders, ours has a particularly creamy consistency without clumping or a gritty mouthfeel. The aromatic cinnamon flavour comes from Madagascan Ceylon cinnamon, which is rounded off by the intense sweetness of stevia (steviol glycosides from the stevia plant). We intentionally avoid artificial flavours and sweeteners, added sugar and soya protein; this protein powder is also gluten-free and guaranteed non-GMO in production.

Proteins

Fava bean protein (Vicia faba, also known as field bean) is obtained from ground fava beans and isolated via extraction. To produce pea protein (Pisum sativum L), the peas are first ground with water to form a fine paste. The pea protein can then be mechanically isolated by successive centrifugation and sedimentation steps. Sunflower seed protein (Helianthus annus) is obtained from the remaining press cake after the production of cold-pressed sunflower seed oil. This is ground, pressed again and ground again, resulting in a fine powder with a characteristic flavour.

Dosage

Directions

Mix 30g powder (approx. 3 heaped tablespoons) in 300ml water or plant-based drink and consume immediately. Consume 1–3 servings daily.

Tips for using our Sunday Natural shakers:

  • First, add cool water or plant-based drink to the shaker, followed by the powder and mixing ball. Cool liquids will help prevent clumping.
  • Close the lid and shake vigorously for 10–30 seconds.
  • If left standing, stir or shake again.

Daily Requirements

The daily protein requirement is around 1.5–2g per kilogram of body weight according to the DGE (German Nutrition Society). The DGE provides the following recommendations for protein intake:

  • Adults: 0.8g protein per kg body weight per day
  • Over 65 years: 1.0g protein per kg body weight per day
  • Those pregnant or breastfeeding: 0.9–1.2g protein per kg body weight per day
