How are we different?

Our premium whey protein powder "Intense Criollo Cacao" has a pleasant, natural and creamy milk flavour with strong notes of criollo cacao, which is perfectly complemented by the pleasant sweetness of functional sugar D-tagatose. All our protein powders are produced without silicon dioxide, artificial flavourings, artificial sweeteners or other artificial additives and without added table sugar, setting our premium protein powders apart from others on the market. We only use natural flavours and high-quality ingredients in this blend. This protein powder contains 13% cacao powder.

Our whey protein powder is of the highest premium quality and is made from 100% whey protein concentrate from controlled production. The milk used comes exclusively from dairy cows in the EU. Animal welfare, well-being and health have top priority. In accordance with the "Five Freedoms" animal welfare programme, the dairy cows live in a natural environment with their fellow cows and have unrestricted access to food and water. The whey protein concentrate or whey protein isolate is extracted from the whey using a careful filtration process, maintaining a naturally higher fat content and full amino acid spectrum.

We use particularly high-quality, airtight flavour protection bags with zippers for packaging. These offer a high level of protection against moisture and external influences.

Protein

Whey protein is protein obtained from whey. Depending on the type of production, it is differentiated into whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, whey protein hydrolysate and clear whey protein isolate (clear whey). All whey proteins are characterised by a very high protein content and a high biological value due to their full amino acid profile including all essential (EAA) and branched-chain (BCAA) amino acids. The biological value indicates how well a dietary protein can be converted into the body's own protein.

Whey protein concentrate has a naturally higher fat and lactose content (carbohydrates) than whey protein isolate.

According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):

Dosage

Directions

Mix 30g powder with 200ml cold water. Take 1–3 servings per day, preferably in the morning and evening and after exercise.

Daily Requirements

The daily protein requirement is around 1.5–2g per kilogram of body weight according to the DGE (German Nutrition Society). The DGE gives the following recommendations for protein intake:

  • Adults: 0.8g protein per kg body weight per day
  • Over 65 years: 1.0g protein per kg body weight per day
  • Those pregnant or breastfeeding: 0.9–1.2g protein per kg body weight per day
