Bancha Gentian
Special Aklaline Herbs
For these special alkaline teas, our herbal and tea sommeliers have harmoniously combined alkaline herbs with premium green and Pu Erh teas from Japan and China. Bancha is a Japanese green tea from a later harvest, which is slightly stimulating and alkaline. Sannenbancha, harvested with leaves and twigs and gently roasted, is the favourite tea of macrobiotics; very mildly stimulating with minimal caffeine, a distinctly alkaline-forming green tea and revered in Japan's health scene for its special blood properties. The dark, strong fermented Shou Pu Erh tea is exceptionally grounding and has many beneficial microorganisms that are preserved during brewing and enter the body through the tea.
