Each of our Ashwagandha gummies contains 100mg of the Ashwagandha extract KSM-66®. At 5%, this high-quality extract provides the highest naturally achievable withanolide content from a pure root extract. It delivers the full spectrum of withanolides from the roots in their natural ratio. The extraction of KSM-66® is carried out entirely without ethanol or other solvents, which are commonly used for many other extracts.
Our vegan Ashwagandha KSM-66® gummies are produced using high-quality fructo-oligosaccharides derived from the natural inulin of chicory root. Fructo-oligosaccharides, or FOS for short, belong to the group of dietary fibres. They are characterised by their mild sweetness and are associated with a range of positive properties. Among other things, they serve as a high-quality food source for lacto- and bifidobacteria in the gut and have a comparatively low glycemic index, which is beneficial for blood sugar stability. While the use of artificial sweeteners or sugar substitutes is common in the production of vitamin gummies, our gummies are produced entirely without artificial sweeteners and without any added sugar.
To produce appealing gummies, gelling agents are required to ensure sufficient firmness, and glazing agents are needed to prevent the gummies from sticking together. We use purely plant-based gelling agents and completely avoid animal gelatine, which is often derived from low-quality slaughterhouse waste. The gelling and stabilising agents we use are obtained from lemon peel (pectin), red algae (agar-agar), and the root tubers of the cassava plant (tapioca starch). We use plant-based carnauba wax as a glazing agent, ensuring our vitamin gummies are strictly vegan. While citric acid—often produced using moulds and genetically modified microorganisms—is frequently used as an acidity regulator, phosphate compounds like tricalcium phosphate are also common. We use better alternatives such as ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and citrate compounds like sodium citrate in our vitamin gummies.
Our Ashwagandha KSM-66® gummies have a natural blackcurrant flavour. Furthermore, the gummies are gluten- and soy-free.
We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.
