Unlike such isolated, synthetically produced astaxanthin, our natural astaxanthin is incorporated into a natural complex of other phytochemicals. The raw material BioAstin® is astaxanthin-containing Haematococcus extract with safflower oil as natural carrier oil, which has a particularly high oleic acid content. Due to the gentle spray-drying according to the ocean-chill method at low temperatures, the full content of the valuable carotenoids are preserved.
