Collagen Hyaluronan Complete is a comprehensive nutrient complex consisting of vitamin C, vitamin E, biotin, copper, manganese, zinc and selenium. This powerful combination supports collagen production, normal skin function, connective tissue health, the formation of new connective tissue and the protection of cells against oxidative stress. To round it off, we have included premium collagen in the form of vegetarian Ovoderm®, as well as hyaluronic acid, silica and coenzyme Q10.
Collagen Hyaluronan Complete's unique formulation combines 11 carefully selected ingredients, most of which are sourced from our range of highly pure active ingredients: vitamin C in the form of PureWay-C®, a special active ingredient coated with bioflavonoids and plant-based fatty acids to enhance its bioavailability; vitamin E from sunflower oil, to provide a natural complex with alpha-, gamma-, beta- and delta-tocopherols; high-quality zinc bisglycinate and copper bisglycinate for optimal bioavailability; manganese as manganese gluconate and selenium as pure sodium selenite; silica from an extract of bamboo shoot; bioactive D-biotin; 100% vegan hyaluronic acid produced by fermentation; and lastly, coenzyme Q10 in the form of ubiquinone, a bioidentical, oxidised form of CoQ10 which can be produced by the body.
The only additional ingredient is lemon peel essential oil powder, specially developed for internal use using NaturCell technology. Through this patented process, the pleasantly scented essential oil, distilled from Italian lemons, is wrapped in a protective inulin matrix derived from chicory root.
Ovoderm®
Our premium skin and connective tissue complex is formulated with 100% vegetarian collagen from authentic Ovoderm®. This unique active ingredient combines collagen with naturally occurring elastin, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and other glycosaminoglycans, forming a natural collagen complex. This provides a significant advantage over many other collagen products available on the market, especially those derived from non-vegetarian sources, as it significantly reduces the amount that needs to be ingested.
Through a patented manufacturing process, the Ovoderm® collagen complex is extracted from eggshell membranes. This membrane covers the inside of the eggshell and is particularly rich in structural proteins and other compounds which give the membrane its characteristic strength and elasticity. The patented extraction process ensures an exceptionally high content of over 90% total protein, with a minimum of 22% collagen (types I, V and X) and 25% elastin. Moreover, the natural complex contains an additional 3% hyaluronic acid, 2% glucosamine and 2% other glycosaminoglycans.
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is available in different particle sizes, which are characterised by the molecular weight. Because of its high molecular weight, hyaluronic acid is particularly efficient at binding water and and retaining moisture. Since micro and nano-sized hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the body as a degradation product, our high-dose hyaluronic acid is specially formulated with a molecular weight range of 2.2–2.3 million Daltons, exceeding the micro and nano range. Additionally, rather than commonly using animal-derived sources such as chicken combs, we have opted for a fermentation process to produce our hyaluronic acid exclusively from plant-based sources, ensuring a 100% vegan ingredient.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
