Natural creatine is exclusively found in animal food sources. Our vegan creatine is therefore synthesized through a complex process, achieving the highest purity without any extraction from animal components.
The chemical synthesis of creatine carries a risk of contamination with two undesirable byproducts: Dicyandiamide (DCD) and Dihydrotriazine (DHT). Pure creatine should contain no more than a few ppm (parts per million) of DCD and absolutely no detectable DHT, as the latter poses a potential health risk. Our Creatine Monohydrate is pure creatine with a minimum purity of 99.7%.
Furthermore, inactive creatinine can form from creatine during the manufacturing process or storage due to degradation. While creatinine is not harmful to health, it offers no performance benefit.
