How are we different?

Flora Essentials 30 provides a comprehensive mixture of important bacterial strains in combination with natural dietary fibres. With as many as 30 different strains of important intestinal bacteria, Flora Essentials 30 shows a very high diversity - with 20 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) capable of reproduction.

When selecting our raw materials, we have taken care to use highly active bacterial strains. These are produced under strict quality controls using modern fermentation processes that exclude contact with genetically modified organisms. Genetically modified bacterial strains are often cultivated on the market for cost reasons. Gentle freeze-drying guarantees a high level of bacterial activity.

We deliberately combine intestinal bacteria with valuable dietary fibres. These come from natural sources, such as our resistant dextrin (RS4) from maize (non-GMO) or hydrolysed guar bean fibres Sunfiber®️ from the Indian guar bean. The dietary fibres serve as a food source for bifido- and lactobacteria.

We use patented, gastric acid-resistant HPMC capsules (DR® Caps) as capsule shells. We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for the packaging.
