How are we different?
Our Hawaiian Spirulina is an original Nutrex product that we have specially pressed into tablets without the use of additives such as silicon dioxide. Sunday offers the only Nutrex spirulina tablets available on the market without such additives.
The tropical climate with consistent sunlight guarantees the highest quality spirulina the whole year round. Sustainable practices are prioritised during production: used water from freshwater springs as well as the ocean are cleansed and reused.
As a result of the gentle ocean-chill drying method at low temperatures, this spirulina powder from Hawaii is also suitable as a raw food. As compared to other spirulina products, the taste is pleasantly mild. This spirulina is a great alternative for those who do not like the typical taste of algae.
Hawaiian spirulina contains a high content of phycocyanin (9,000mg/100g, subject to variation as a natural product). Phycocyanin is a plant pigment with a high antioxidative potential and an unmistakable blue color.
The inadvertent growth of other types of algae is prevented via a modern system of biologically balanced and controlled basins, thus securing a pure algae culture that is free from contaminants. Our product is ultra pure and guaranteed free from additives and contaminants.
After drying, the Spirulina platensis Pacifica is immediately packaged in airtight amber glass jars and not, as is often done, processed with UV light for longer shelf life.
As a natural result of being freshwater algae, the iodine content of spirulina and chlorella is much lower than in sea algae. Iodine is therefore only present in trace amounts in our spirulina, which makes the daily consumption of these tablets safe. We additionally have the iodine content tested by the producer, which confirms a low concentration of 2µg iodine per tablet.

Recommended Dosage
Take 8-10 tablets (3.2-4g spirulina) with 200ml water before meals.
In cases of increased requirements, for example following illness, up to 10g spirulina can be taken per day (corresponding to 25 tablets). To reach a higher dose, gradually increase the number of tablets consumed each day.
Food Supplement
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Food supplements cannot replace a balanced and varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
