Our milk thistle complex is a high-quality complex made from selected native plants such as dandelion, artichoke, milk thistle and gentian. All of these plants have a high content of bitter substances. The botanical extracts are obtained from high-quality raw materials and have been extracted only with water and/or food-grade ethanol, without any additional solvents.
Milk Thistle
Our milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum) is made exclusively from the seeds of non-GMO milk thistle plants cultivated and harvested on small farms. This highly pure extract has a standardised content of 80% silymarin, 30% of which is silibinin, and is extracted using food-grade ethanol. Our extract is free from acetone residue and carriers such as maltodextrin.
Gentian
The gentian root extract is a highly concentrated 10:1 extract from yellow gentian roots (Gentiana lutea) from natural cultivation. The extraction is carried out only with purified water, so the phytochemicals never come into contact with any solvents or extraction agents.
Artichoke
Our artichoke extract is derived from the whole leaves of Spanish artichokes and has a guaranteed cynarine content of at least 5%. The extraction process is entirely conducted using purified water and concentrates the valuable ingredients roughly tenfold. No further solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, so the natural purity of the plant is fully preserved.
Dandelion Root
This dandelion extract is obtained from the plant's roots via a pure water extraction process, which concentrates the valuable ingredients roughly tenfold. No further solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, so the natural purity of the plant is fully preserved.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
