How are we different?

As an active ingredient, molybdenum is never available in isolation, but rather bonded within a compound. We use highly bioavailable, organic sodium molybdate as an ultra pure premium ingredient in pharmaceutical quality.

The filler, which is made of premium gum arabic grown without pesticides, is the only additive. In contrast to microcrystalline cellulose, which is often synthetic and high in nanoparticles, we use a 100% natural and fibre-rich food as a filler. Our gum arabic comes from sustainable, climate-neutral, resource-conserving and fair cultivation.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

The essential trace element molybdenum is found in many plant-based foods made of cereals, nuts and legumes, as well as in offal, eggs and drinking water (depending on the region). However, molybdenum concentration in plants is strongly dependent on the molybdenum content of the soil, as well as on environmental influences. Extensive cultivation of the soil or heavy industrial processing can lead to reduced levels of molybdenum in plant-based foods.

The human body typically contains 8-10mg of molybdenum. Of this, about 60% is found in the skeleton and 40% in the kidneys, lungs, liver and skin. The body requires molybdenum mostly as a cofactor of various liver enzymes.

Directions

Take 1 capsule with 200ml water daily, separately from meals.

Daily Requirements

The National Health Service (NHS) does not currently have any published recommendations regarding daily intake of molybdenum.
