How are we different?

Our Ashwa Pro Muscle Recover Complex has been formulated to meet the specific needs of athletes. To promote muscle recovery and relaxation, it offers the perfect post-workout support with magnesium, ashwagandha, beetroot, saffron and quercetin.

We place particular emphasis on the quality of the ingredients. Our premium ashwagandha root extract KSM-66® provides the highest naturally achievable withanolide content from a pure root extract (5%). It provides the full spectrum of withanolides from the root in their natural ratio. The usual pre-treatment of ashwagandha roots with milk is also avoided during production, making our extract ideal for vegans. The saffron extract provides a high content of its ingredients in a natural ratio, including 3% safranal and 7.5% crocine, which are extracted exclusively via water and food-grade ethanol. The Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica) contains exceptionally high amounts of quercetin, from whose pure blossom extract we obtain our 100% natural and bioavailable quercetin. We also add pure, natural beetroot powder to the complex, which is obtained from whole, dried beetroot tubers grown in Germany. The complex is rounded off with the two organic magnesium forms, magnesium glycinate and magnesium citrate.

This product has been tested free from selected doping substances within the scope of the Cologne List®. The Cologne List® is a doping prevention initiative which publishes products which have been independently tested for selected doping substances by a world-class laboratory in food supplement analysis. As a partner of the Cologne List®, we ensure greater transparency in a very heterogeneous market and support athletes, teams, clubs and associations in the assessment of these products.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

Dual Magnesium Complex

The dual magnesium complex of magnesium glycinate and magnesium citrate offers two advantages for exercise: it combines the two best available magnesium compounds with rapid absorption and their main areas of action. Magnesium glycinate for the muscles, protein synthesis, nervous system and psyche; and magnesium citrate for muscles, energy metabolism, reduction of tiredness and fatigue and electrolyte balance.

Supplementary Phytochemical Power

The perfect combination for relaxation after exercise: a rich variety of phytochemicals from ashwagandha, beetroot, saffron and quercetin. High-quality extracts of ashwagandha root as KSM-66®, saffron crocus and quercetin from Sophora japonica and pure powder from dried beet tubers.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as sleeping berry, contains withanolides – the most researched phytochemicals in ashwagandha to date – in its roots and leaves. They belong to the group of steroidal lactones and are similar in their chemical structure to steroid hormones. Quercetin is one of its bioflavonoids, the most frequently occurring polyphenols in the plant world. As plant pigments, flavonoids are responsible for the colouring of flowers and leaves as well as for protecting plants from certain environmental influences. The deep red color characteristic of the beetroot tuber is due to the high concentration of the plant pigment betanin. The tuber is also known to absorb large quantities of nitrate compounds. The phytochemical composition of saffron has now been well researched and over 150 substances have been discovered in saffron to date; the most popular ingredients are safranal and crocins. Crocins are water-soluble carotenoids and are responsible for the yellow color of saffron.

Directions

Take 2 capsules daily with 200ml water 30 minutes before going to bed.
