How are we different?
Turmeric powders vary greatly in terms of quality. This is partly due to the addition of food colouring to enhance the appearance of the curcumin. Other additives are used to increase the weight and volume of the product. Our powder contains 100% pure turmeric powder with 3.7% curcuminoids, which are free from sweeteners and preservatives. Good quality turmeric products have a natural range of 2.5% to 5% curcuminoid content, which fluctuates as it is a natural product.
In many instances, turmeric is cultivated with water that has been polluted with heavy metals or pesticides, which then build up in the plant itself. Our organic turmeric powder is not only 100% natural, but also sourced directly from an organically certified producer in India, who ensures the turmeric plants are cultivated without pesticides or irradiation. The turmeric tubers are gently dried and finely ground. The fresher the turmeric is, the more essential oils and phytochemicals are retained, which is why we do not use any turmeric powder that has been stored for extended periods of time.
According to our own experiences and research, the quality of raw turmeric is not always guaranteed. Microbiological factors (such as salmonella, bacteria and mould) are an inherent concern. We utilise a gentle steam sterilisation method to cleanse the product, which is a requirement for all high-grade raw turmeric ingredients sourced from India.

Directions
Take 1 measuring spoon (approx. 4g, of which 148mg curcuminoids) daily with 200ml water.

This product is not suitable for those pregnant or breastfeeding or children under the age of 18. Consult your physician before use in case of liver disease, gall bladder or concomitant use of medication such as anticoagulants, anticancer drugs or immunosuppressants.
