Depending on the type of production, it is differentiated into whey protein concentrate, whey protein isolate, whey protein hydrolysate and clear whey protein isolate (clear whey). All whey proteins are characterised by a very high protein content and a high biological value due to their full amino acid profile including all essential (EAA) and branched-chain (BCAA) amino acids. The biological value indicates how well a dietary protein can be converted into the body's own protein.
Whey protein concentrate has a naturally higher fat and lactose (carbohydrate) content than whey protein isolate.

Mix 30g powder (3 tablespoons) with 200ml cold water in a shaker bottle. Take 1–3 servings per day, preferably in the morning and evening and after exercise.
Daily Requirements
The DGE (German Nutrition Society) recommends a daily protein requirement of around 1.5–2g per kilogram of body weight. The DGE gives the following recommendations for protein intake:
- Adults: 0.8g protein per kg body weight per day
- Over 65 years: 1.0g protein per kg body weight per day
