How are we different?
Resveratrol exists in several different forms, but only the trans form is fully bioactive. Supplements with a mixture of cis- and trans-components are therefore comparatively less effective. Our premium resveratrol is a natural ingredient with at least 98% highly bioactive trans-resveratrol.
The natural raw ingredient Veri-te™ is resveratrol from the Swiss producer Evolva®, which is naturally produced by the fermentation of yeast. The end product – the active ingredient – is completely free from yeast, as a result of the innovative production process. Extraction is achieved without toxic solvents such as ethyl acetate. Our ethanol-soluble resveratrol is therefore completely free from extraction residues and other contaminants.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Resveratrol is a polyphenol that has already been discovered in more than 72 plant species. It became known as a naturally occurring component of red wine since it is particularly concentrated in the skins of red grapes. It serves as a natural defense and protective substance for the plant against parasites, fungal attack and adverse weather conditions such as moisture, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.
Resveratrol exists in two different geometric variants, so-called isomers: cis-resveratrol and trans-resveratrol. Only the trans form develops its full biological and physical properties, which occurs more frequently in nature than cis-resveratrol.
