ALL-TRANS VITAMIN K2 FROM NORWAY
Vitamin K2 exists in different molecular forms, which are referred to as MK-4 and MK-7 according to the length of the side arms. MK-7 is currently regarded as the most effective form of vitamin K2, which remains effective in the body for a particularly long time and covers the functional K2 requirement even at low doses.
Vitamin K2 MK-7 is also available in various forms, of which only the trans form is biologically effective. The addition "all-trans" denotes an active ingredient that consists of at least 98% vitamin K2 MK-7 in the trans form.
Regardless of the manufacturer's claims on the label, there is also widespread fraudulent labeling in this area, as a recent study has shown: Despite being declared as "all-trans" K2, some of the supplements examined in the study contained no vitamin K2 at all and many others contained only 30% trans K2. MCT CARRIER OIL FOR OPTIMAL PROTECTION AND BETTER ABSORPTION
Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin and can only be absorbed by the body together with fats. For our K2 drops, we have selected a particularly high-quality MCT oil produced in the Netherlands based on coconut oil as the carrier oil. In contrast to other carrier oils such as olive oil or tablet press agents such as calcium carbonate, MCT oil hardly breaks down the fat-soluble vitamins, making it the best option for optimum active ingredient protection, whereby the medium-chain fatty acids of the carrier oil themselves also represent a valuable nutrient. The manufacturer of our coconut MCT oil can confirm that no monkeys are used to harvest the coconuts.
While capsules and tablets first have to dissolve in the body to release the active ingredient, vitamin K2 from oil is immediately bioavailable in the mouth and can therefore be optimally absorbed. Oils are also particularly convenient to use and are also suitable for people who have difficulty swallowing capsules or tablets. All our oils come with high-quality glass pipettes, which make it particularly easy to dispense the exact amount in drops. In contrast to dropper bottles, which are often difficult to handle and tend to smudge, glass pipettes are convenient and clean to use.
