How are we different?

Our Coenzyme Q10 Rapid Spray for sublingual application features a complex of both Kaneka® Ubiquinol as the reduced form of CoQ10, as well as Ubiquinone, the oxidised form. Kaneka Ubiquinol® is the world's only source of bioidentical ubiquinol, stabilised by a patented process and obtained naturally through yeast fermentation, resulting in a 100% pure, yeast-free ingredient. Manufactured in Japan to the highest standards, this premium Kaneka Ubiquinol®, alongside Ubiquinone from natural fermentation with Rhodobacter sphaeroides, is incorporated into a nanoemulsion with a droplet size of 20–100nm.

This nanoemulsion is not to be confused with nanoparticles, which consist of atomic or molecular clusters. Its structure is similar to that of liposomes found naturally in human cells. This specific structure and small droplet size enhance bioavailability and facilitate rapid absorption through the oral mucosa. This delivery method allows the CoQ10 to enter the bloodstream directly, bypassing the liver and avoiding potential intestinal absorption issues.

The orange peel oil included in this formula gives the Coenzyme Q10 Rapid Spray a fresh and pleasant taste. For optimal preservation of the valuable active ingredients, we use vitamin E (Alpha-Tocopherol), extracted from non-GMO soybeans sourced from Europe, as a natural antioxidant.

We use light-protected and environmentally friendly amber glass instead of plastic for packaging.

Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is a vitamin-like substance that occurs in two different forms: the oxidised form of ubiquinone and the reduced bioactive form of ubiquinol. Although small amounts can be obtained from food, the body produces much of its own Q10; however, production capacity decreases with age.

Coenzyme Q10 plays a key role in energy production in the mitochondria as part of the respiratory chain, which is why it can be found in higher concentrations in tissues and organs that have more significant energy requirements such as the heart, liver, kidneys and muscles.
