The chemical production of creatine carries the risk of contamination with two undesirable by-products: dicyandiamide (DCD) and dihydrotriazine (DHT). Creapure® guarantees extremely low, strictly controlled limits in the ppm range (millionths) through the strictest laboratory analyses, thus offering maximum user safety.
During the manufacturing process or storage, degradation can also cause ineffective creatinine to form from creatine. Creatinine is not harmful to health, but has no effect either.
