How are we different?

For our CurcuRouge® capsules, we use a highly bioavailable, study-proven turmeric extract obtained via an innovative extraction process developed by leading bioavailability expert Dr. Hashimoto.

As turmeric naturally has low bioavailability, manufacturers have been trying for years to improve its low oral absorption, low solubility and rapid metabolism of curcuminoids using innovative extraction processes, vesicles and enhancers. Our CurcuRouge® is obtained through an expertly developed, patented extraction process using a novel polymer matrix, which significantly improves stability and solubility.

Many turmeric extracts on the market have an ordered structure and are therefore very stable, but are also less soluble and thus only available to the human body to a limited extent. Through processes such as heating or cooling, an amorphous (i.e., non-ordered) structure of the curcuminoids is created, which is less stable but more soluble and more bioavailable than standard turmeric extracts.

By stabilising the amorphous structure with an innovative polymer matrix in CurcuRouge®, experts succeeded in improving the bioavailability of the curcuminoids through optimised stability and solubility. This allows for the 40% curcumin contained to be absorbed well by the body and show 93x higher bioavailability than conventional turmeric extracts. Due to this unique formulation, lower doses of CurcuRouge® are necessary to achieve the desired results compared to conventional turmeric extracts.

Only high-quality, sustainably cultivated Indian turmeric root is used for this product. The roots are processed into our highly bioavailable Courcurouge™ via an expertly developed, patented extraction process. We do not use controversial additives, artificial curcuminoids, nanotechnologies or enhancers such as piperine.

We use high-fibre starch from maize seed as a filler. The maize used for this comes from natural non-GMO cultivation.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Effects

Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.), a ginger plant native to India, has been revered as a sacred plant for over 5000 years. According to ancient writings in the Indian Vedas, "turmeric" or "Indian saffron" was considered one of the most important spices of its time. Turmeric species have been known in herbalism since ancient times in Europe as well. Turmeric is one of the most well-researched plants in the world, with research focusing largely on curcuminoids. Its traditional use is based on the synergy of all the ingredients of the turmeric root.

Over 100 different substances have now been extracted from turmeric roots. In addition to the unique group of curcuminoids consisting of curcumin, cyclocurcumin and bisdemethoxycurcumin, it also contains a spectrum of essential oils and other phytochemicals. Since curcuminoids have a rather low bioavailability due to their poor absorption, solubility and rapid metabolism, optimising their solubility and bioavailability has been of interest. With CurcuRouge®, leading experts have succeeded in increasing the bioavailability of curcuminoids by a factor of 93 using a polymer matrix. Due to the direct availability of the curcuminoids compared to conventional extracts, significantly lower doses are required.

Directions

Take 1 capsule daily with 200ml water with a meal.

Contraindications

This product is not suitable for those pregnant or breastfeeding or children under the age of 18. Consult your physician before use in case of liver disease, gall bladder or concomitant use of medication such as anticoagulants, anticancer drugs or immunosuppressants.
