How are we different?
Our premium 10:1 dandelion extract is derived from the root of the dandelion. The extraction process is conducted entirely using pure water and concentrates the valuable ingredients roughly tenfold. No further solvents such as methanol or acetone are used, so the natural purity of the plant is fully preserved.
The dried extract is filled into our ultra-pure capsules in the only further processing step. As a result, the capsules contain only 100% dandelion root extract, with no additives or carriers.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Dandelion
The dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) has been used in herbalism since ancient times. The highest concentration of the plant's active ingredients can be found in its roots.
Some of the most important active ingredients found in the dandelion are the bitter sesquiterpene lactones. Sesquiterpene lactones, sometimes acting as plant hormones, are used by the dandelion to defend itself against predators and are highly bioactive.
