The special magnesium compounds magnesium L-threonate, as the patented premium raw material Magtein®, and magnesium acetyl taurate, as ATA Mg®, are two specific forms of magnesium known for their particularly high bioavailability. They are especially suitable for supporting the brain and nervous system.
In magnesium L-threonate, magnesium is bound to the Vitamin C metabolite L-threonic acid, which ensures its excellent absorbability. The patented production process begins with Vitamin C as the natural starting material. Through a gentle and carefully controlled process, Vitamin C is converted into magnesium L-threonate with the help of magnesium carbonate and activated carbon.
ATA Mg® is the acetylated form of the organic magnesium chelate, magnesium taurate. Acetylated nutrients exhibit very good bioavailability because the attached acetyl group alters their chemical properties, allowing them to diffuse directly through the cell membrane and more easily enter the cell's interior.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
