How are we different?

Our Mito Support Complex is a functional blend with magnesium and high doses of vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B12 to support energy metabolism and help reduce fatigue and tiredness. It was developed in collaboration with nutrition expert Dr. Alina Lessenich. The combination of 9 selected nutrients combines the key vitamins B1, B2, B3 and B12 for energy metabolism, as well as the mineral magnesium in the form of highly bioavailable and well-tolerated magnesium bisglycinate, with the valuable coenzymes Q10 and NADH, PQQ and the amino acid NAC (N-acetyl-L-cysteine) as the acetylated form of the amino acid cysteine.

This globally unique and innovative formula is therefore more than just a functional blend and stands out from other products on the market. For the ingredients, we use a hand-picked selection of our individual active ingredients from highly pure production. Mito Support Complex contains:

B vitamins as pure, high-quality and vegan premium raw materials of the highest quality and with the highest possible bioavailability and purity: vitamin B1 as thiamine hydrochloride, a stable and highly effective form of vitamin B1, vitamin B2 as bioactive riboflavin 5′-phosphate sodium, the directly effective coenzyme form, also known as flavin mononucleotide (FMN), vitamin B3 as no-flush nicotinamide, a highly effective form of vitamin B3, with ideal conversion to the NAD coenzymes, and vitamin B12 in the form of adenosylcobalamin, one of the two natural, bioactive coenzymes of vitamin B12, 100% from a natural source produced in the EU.

Magnesium bisglycinate is one of the most bioavailable and well-tolerated forms of magnesium. However, as there is still no natural source of the amino acid glycine in the world, we have chosen a synthetically derived magnesium bisglycinate with a purity of 99.8%.

Our Mito Support Complex is complemented by:

Vegan, highly bioavailable cysteine in acetylated form (N-acetyl-cysteine), coenzyme Q10 as ubiquinone obtained from fermentation (non-GMO) by the bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides, the premium PQQ raw material MGCPQQ® obtained by a patented production process with over 99.0% purity - the only PQQ on the German market with Novel Food approval, as well as NADH, which is obtained as a highly pure raw material of the highest quality by an enzymatic production process. The raw materials used are all free from any additives.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.

Mitochondria

Mitochondria are the smallest organelles found in the cells of almost all eukaryotes. According to the endosymbiotic theory, mitochondria originally arose from the symbiosis of aerobic bacteria and the precursors of today's eukaryotes. Evidence for this is provided by the independent mitochondrial DNA contained in all mitochondria.

Within cells, their main task is to regenerate the universal, energy-rich molecule ATP (adenosine triphosphate) via a process called the mitrochondrial respiratory chain (MRC). A number of micronutrients are also involved in this metabolic process. Known to many as the "powerhouse of the cell", mitochondria are regarded as essential centres of energy production. A particularly large number of mitochondria are therefore found in cells with high energy consumption, such as muscle, nerve and sensory cells.
