Inositol occurs in 9 different forms (also called isomers), which differ in their geometric structure and perform similar yet different functions. The most important and most common form is myo-inositol. Our myo-inositol consists of a pure, premium vegan raw material.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
Inositol is a vitamin-like compound that was previously referred to as vitamin B8 until it was discovered that the human body can produce it from glucose. Although inositol is no longer considered a vitamin, it is still vital for important functions in the body.
Inositol exists in the form of 9 different isomers; they differ only in the spatial arrangement of their atoms. The two most well-known inositol forms are myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol.
Take 1 capsule (500mg myo-inositol) daily with 200ml water.
There are no official dietary guidelines for inositol. This compound can be synthesised by the body itself, so many people can completely cover their daily requirements endogenously. The following recommendation for dietary supplementation is stated in the literature:
