This type of coffee is characterised by a strong, earthy-nutty aroma and is popular with coffee connoisseurs. Thanks to its pronounced crema, full body and intense flavour, the robusta bean is often used as a classic espresso bean. In our protein coffee, the special aroma of the robusta bean is further refined by the creamy-sweet caramel flavour and the intense sweetness of stevia (steviol glycosides).
Our vegan protein coffee has a high protein content of 78% and offers a full amino acid spectrum with all essential amino acids. Our balanced, plant-based 3-component protein blend also achieves a creamy consistency reminiscent of coffee crema, without a sandy taste or lumps. We do not use any sugar, artificial sweeteners or artificial flavours in our Natural Caramel Flavour variety. The end product is also sugar-free (< 0.5g) and contains only 122kcal per serving. Fava bean protein (Vicia faba, also known as field bean) is obtained from ground fava beans and isolated via extraction. To produce pea protein (Pisum sativum L), the peas are first ground with water to form a fine paste. The pea protein can then be mechanically isolated by successive centrifugation and sedimentation steps. Sunflower seed protein (Helianthus annus) is obtained from the remaining press cake after the production of cold-pressed sunflower seed oil. This is ground, pressed again and ground again, resulting in a fine powder with a characteristic flavour.

Daily Requirements
The daily protein requirement is around 1.5–2g per kilogram of body weight according to the DGE (German Nutrition Society). The DGE provides the following recommendations for protein intake:
