This complex delivers a sophisticated combination of both forms of Coenzyme Q10; providing Ubiquinone, the bioidentical, oxidized form synthesized naturally by human cells, as well as Ubiquinol, the bioactive, reduced variant of Coenzyme Q10.
Ubiquinone is the stable, naturally occurring form of Q10 produced in the body. Our Ubiquinone is obtained through non-GMO fermentation using the bacterium Rhodobacter sphaeroides, an aquatic microorganism capable of producing substantial quantities of Coenzyme Q10 through anaerobic photosynthesis. Kaneka Ubiquinol® is the only globally available source of bioactive Ubiquinol, stabilized via a patented process and derived entirely from natural yeast fermentation. The resulting ingredient is 100% pure Ubiquinol and entirely yeast-free. Both Q10 actives are free from emulsifiers, stabilizers, and enhancers.
Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a vitamin-like compound first discovered in 2003. It occurs naturally in small amounts in green peppers, tofu, kiwi, and green tea. Due to its classification as a novel compound in the context of nutrition, PQQ requires authorization under the Novel Food regulation for use in dietary products.
For our formulation, we exclusively use MGCPQQ®, a certified premium-grade PQQ raw material produced through a patented manufacturing process and without the use of auxiliary materials. Our Q10 PQQ Complex is complemented with bioactive Vitamin B6 and premium-grade Vitamin C. Unlike the commonly used form Pyridoxine, which must first be converted by the body, our formulation includes Pyridoxal-5’-Phosphate (P5P, PLP), the biologically active coenzyme form of Vitamin B6. This highly pure, vegan ingredient ensures optimal quality and is directly available to the body for use in essential metabolic functions.
Vitamin C is incorporated as PureWay-C®, a specialized form micro-encapsulated with plant-based fatty acids and citrus bioflavonoids, designed for optimized absorption and retention. It is derived solely from non-GMO corn and processed under strict quality protocols to yield a highly pure final product. The result is a refined form of Vitamin C that is entirely corn-free, fructose-free, and devoid of any chemical solvent residues.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We use environmentally friendly amber glass jars for the packaging of this product.
