This herbal tea composition is multifaceted and harmonious, defined by an exciting blend of several aromas. Initially, a fragrance of forest fruit unfolds, characterised by raspberry leaves and elderflower. As it develops, floral rose aromas increasingly come to the fore. A pleasant freshness permeates the blend, thanks to the catnip and nettle. On the palate, the tea is balanced, rounded and full-bodied—with a rich, pleasant texture that feels soft on the tongue.

Raspberry Leaves
The raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) is a valuable plant with a history of use that dates back over 2000 years to the ancient Greeks and Romans. A member of the rose family, it thrives primarily in forest clearings or on deforested land at altitudes of up to 2000m within the boreal zones of the Northern Hemisphere. While best known for its delicious fruits, its leaves have also long been used in traditional herbalism for preparation of tea. Archaeological finds show that both the fruits and leaves of the plant were used as far back as the Stone Age, and it was later cultivated in monastery gardens by knowledgeable priests and monks during the Middle Ages.
Lady's Mantle
Lady's mantle (Alchemilla) belongs to the rose family (Rosaceae). Its species are widespread across Europe, Asia and Africa, thriving particularly at higher altitudes, with around 300 species in Europe alone. Its botanical name, Alchemilla, alludes to alchemy and the plant's perceived magical properties, a belief inspired by the droplets of water that form on its leaves and have been used in home remedies since ancient times.
Elderflower
Elder (Sambucus nigra) often grows in close proximity to human habitation, where it nestles against houses and walls. The small tree graces us with its fragrant flowers from May to July, and as late summer transitions into autumn, the flowers mature into berries. The wisdom of the Celts acquainted them long ago with the uses of elder's blossoms and berries.
Peppermint
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) has been used for ages in cultures around the world for purification rituals, as incense, and in the form of calming tea. To help improve concentration, students in ancient times wore a crown of twisted mint and relied on the sweet, clear scent for its stimulating effects. Traditionally, peppermint is consumed as a tea or inhaled in the form of steam baths.
Nettle
Nettle (Urtica dioica, Urtica urens) deserves a place of honour among herbs. With around 70 species found across the globe (everywhere except Antarctica) it is hardy, undemanding and remarkably effective. It thrives in close proximity to humans, and numerous butterfly species depend on it for survival. Already known in antiquity, nettle was believed to ward off evil.
Rose Petals
The rose (Rosa centifolia) is a true Persian, and Iran has the most rose varieties today. We owe today's diversity in our climes to Charlemagne, who initiated the cultivation of the rose as a fragrant and useful plant. It is not only symbolic of love, both the Greeks and the Chinese greatly valued its attributes.
Cranesbill
Cranesbill (Geranium spp.) is a wild plant from the geranium family and is native to many regions of Europe. Herb Robert (Geranium robertianum) is particularly well known for its aromatic scent and delicate pink flowers. The characteristically deeply lobed leaves and the beak-like fruiting bodies, which give the plant its name, make cranesbill easy to identify. It prefers to grow in semi-shaded to shaded locations such as forest edges, hedges and damp meadows.
Fenugreek
Originating from India, fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) was brought to Europe by Benedictine monks and cultivated in monastery gardens. It is a papilionaceous plant and was highly valued in ancient times. It is not solely found in Africa, Asia and Europe, but is also native to Australia.
Horehound
Horehound (Marrubium) is a perennial flowering plant belonging to the mint family (Lamiaceae), native to Europe, North Africa and Central Asia. It can be identified by its round, downy leaves and clusters of tiny white flowers. The plant is highly drought-resistant and thrives even in nutrient-poor soils. The history of its medicinal use spans from the first century right through to the present day.
