How are we different?

For our Liposomal Vitamin C 500 Ultra, we use the special active ingredient PureWay-C® in its purest premium quality, which is additionally enveloped by liposomes derived from sunflower phospholipids. Liposomes are hollow, spherical vesicles consisting of a lipid bilayer.

PureWay-C® is a unique, synergistic combination of vitamin C, which achieves significantly higher absorption than conventional vitamin C preparations due to its special coating of plant-based fatty acids and a citrus bioflavonoid complex. The innovative manufacturing process now combines the benefits of PureWay-C® with a liposomal formulation. The resulting phospholipid bilayer provides an additional coating for the PureWay-C®, which further improves absorption and bioavailability. This coating is also responsible for the high storage stability of the vitamin C and its excellent protection from oxidation.

For the production of vitamin C in high doses, maize or citrus fruits are used almost exclusively. Here too, there are strong quality differences. We have placed great importance on using exclusively non-GMO maize as the raw material. This is processed into the special active ingredient PureWay-C® in a state-of-the-art, innovative manufacturing process according to the highest quality standards. The end result is highly concentrated vitamin C, which is completely free from maize, fructose-free and without residues of chemical solvents.

This product has been tested free from selected doping substances within the scope of the Cologne List®. The Cologne List® is a doping prevention initiative which publishes products which have been independently tested for selected doping substances by a world-class laboratory in food supplement analysis. As a partner of the Cologne List®, we ensure greater transparency in a very heterogeneous market and support athletes, teams, clubs and associations in the assessment of these products.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass. The enclosed silica gel serves to absorb moisture in order to preserve the freshness and quality of the product. Effects

Vitamin C is involved in numerous redox reactions as an antioxidant and cofactor, thus influencing numerous processes in the human body, such as energy metabolism and the immune system as well as providing antioxidative protection to cells. It is also involved in the formation of collagen, the structural protein found in skin, cartilage, bones and blood vessels, as well as in the synthesis of hormones.

High concentrations of vitamin C are found naturally in fresh fruits, vegetables and berries such as camu camu, sea buckthorn berry, acerola cherry, rosehip, black currant, kale, parsley, kiwis and citrus fruits, among others.

Vitamin C is still the subject of intensive research. New mechanisms of action of this fascinating vitamin are discovered almost every year. To date, the following statements on vitamin C have been approved by the EU:

Directions

Take 1 capsule with 200ml water daily.

Daily Requirements

The National Health Service (NHS) recommends a daily intake of 40mg of vitamin C. However, it is important to note that individual vitamin C needs may vary according to age, dietary habits, genetics and other factors.

Vitamin C should be divided into several portions throughout the day, as the body can only absorb a limited amount into its tissues at once before they reach saturation and because blood levels of the vitamin drop relatively soon after ingestion.
