How are we different?

Most vitamin D tablets on the market contain many unnecessary additives that are already contained in the active ingredient as excipients or are added as fillers, compressing agents and flow agents, such as magnesium stearate, or flavourings and colourings. Thanks to an active ingredient produced especially for us and our own manufacturing process, our vitamin D tablets are completely free of synthetic ingredients. This enables us to offer particularly high-quality and pure vitamin D.

D3 active ingredients very often contain a whole range of additives, some of which do not have to be declared, such as synthetic vitamin E, ascorbyl palmitate, silicon dioxide, modified starch, sucrose, denatured vegetable oils and maltodextrin. Our vitamin D3 is particularly pure and free from the usual hidden additives due to the elaborate special production according to our specifications.

In order to achieve an even distribution of vitamins D3 and K2 in the active ingredient powder and thus a precise dosage, only highly pure, 100% nanoparticle-free microcrystalline cellulose is used.

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that can only be absorbed by the body when combined with fats. Our tablets therefore contain high-quality MCT coconut oil in powder form for optimal absorption. Natural vitamin E protects the active ingredient from oxidation, allowing for a prolonged shelf life.

We use premium bioactive K2 all-trans MK-7 by Norwegian brand Kappa, a leading producer in Europe. It is one of the few commercial supplements on the market that guarantees a minimum of 99.7% highly effective all-trans MK-7. This completely eliminates quality fluctuations, impurities and high proportions of ineffective K2 forms.

The only other ingredient is premium gum arabic, cultivated without the use of plant protection products. In contrast to microcrystalline cellulose, a widely used synthetic filler often mixed with nanoparticles, gum arabic is a natural, fibre-rich food. Our fair trade gum arabic is climate neutral and is sustainably cultivated to conserve resources.

Dosage

Directions

Take 1 tablet (5000 IU vitamin D3) every 5 days with 200ml water at mealtimes.

Note: Not suitable for children under the age of 7.

Daily Requirements

Vitamin D

The National Health Service (NHS) recommends a daily intake of 10μg of vitamin D for those 1 year of age and older, inclusive of those pregnant, breastfeeding and at risk of vitamin D deficiency. The NHS recommends a daily intake of 8.5-10μg of vitamin D for babies up to the age of 1 year. However, it is important to note that individual vitamin D needs may vary according to geographic location (sun exposure), dietary habits, genetics and other factors.

Vitamin K2

The National Health Service (NHS) does not currently have any published recommendations regarding daily intake of vitamin K.
