Our high-dose Zinc 25 Enhanced contains organic zinc bisglycinate in combination with histidine, NAC and vitamin C. The zinc is bound to the amino acid glycine as a zinc chelate.
The amino acid L-glycine is unfortunately not yet available from plant-based raw materials. We have therefore opted for a pure zinc bisglycinate produced synthetically in Germany, which is guaranteed not to be made from questionable raw materials such as animal or human hair. It is therefore also ideal for vegans and vegetarians. The amino acids histidine and cysteine (as bioactive N-acetyl cysteine) are also 100% vegan. They are obtained from the fermentation of non-GMO maize. Our Zinc 25 Enhanced is one of only a few products in the world to supply both of these effect-enhancing amino acids.
Each capsule also contains our Premium Vitamin C Ultra, which contains the special active ingredient PureWay-C®. This unique, synergistically effective combination of vitamin C achieves significantly higher absorption than conventional vitamin C supplements due to its special coating with plant-derived fatty acids and a citrus bioflavonoid complex. The coating allows the vitamin C to be better absorbed into the blood and cells, has a long-lasting retention time and is well tolerated by the stomach. The coating is also responsible for its high storage stability and protection against oxidation.
Zinc and vitamin C have many overlapping synergistic effects.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
