Our high-dose zinc is bound to the amino acid glycine as chelated zinc, which is chemically organic zinc bisglycinate.
The amino acid L-glycine is not yet available from plant-based raw materials. We have therefore opted for a pure zinc bisglycinate produced synthetically in Germany, which is guaranteed not to be made from questionable raw materials such as animal or human hair. It is therefore also ideal for vegans and vegetarians.
Each capsule also contains 125mg of our premium vitamin C, obtained via a complex manufacturing process. High-dose vitamin C is obtained almost exclusively from maize, the quality of which can vary. It is therefore important to us to ensure that the raw material is sourced exclusively from non-GMO maize. This raw material, through our multi-stage manufacturing process conducted according to the highest quality standards, is transformed into our highly pure vitamin C and contains no trace of maize, fructose or any chemical solvent residues (although common practice, we do not use methanol as a solvent). The result is our highest concentrated vitamin C with a purity level of over 99%.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.
