How are we different?
Our premium cranberry extract is made exclusively from nutrient-rich, air-dried cranberries by a specialist producer in France. Native to North America, American cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) are grown naturally and are free from pesticides and synthetic fertiliser residues. The ultra-pure extraction is performed a single time using only water and food grade ethanol, meaning that the active ingredient does not come into contact with any further chemical solvents or extraction agents. Water–ethanol extraction is ideal for producing a PAC-rich extract, as PACs are highly soluble in both water and ethanol.
Due to the high content of bioactives found in American cranberries, the extract contains a rich content of proanthocyanidins (PACs), the most biologically active compounds of the cranberry. The rich purple colour of our extract indicates the premium quality of the air-dried cranberries as well as its high PAC content.
Other suppliers often advertise high-dose cranberry extracts despite these usually containing only a low amount of PACs; most extracts on the market contain a maximum of 36mg PACs per capsule. Our extract is standardised to 40% PACs, resulting in 50mg of these potent bioactives per capsule. This standardisation enables a consistently high content of bioactives and ensures excellent quality.
In contrast to other vitamin C products, which often use synthetic active ingredients, we use original PureWay-C®, produced in a complex, 6-step fermentation process. As a result of the coating of plant-derived fatty acids and citrus bioflavonoid complex, our vitamin C exibits a significantly higher bioavailability than conventional vitamin C formulations.
This product only contains two ingredients, which are both of the highest purity: 125mg of cranberry extract with 40% (50mg) PACs and 80mg of vitamin C combined with bioflavonoids and plant-derived fatty acids. There are no additives or synthetic vitamin C in this formulation.
For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

The American cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon) is native mainly to the Eastern and Northern Europe as well as North America, where it is used as both a traditional household remedy and as a food. These cranberries contain a number of phytochemicals with antioxidant properties. In particular, they are rich in proanthocyanidins (PACs), a class of polyphenols.

Each capsule contains an additional 80mg of vitamin C coated with plant-derived fatty acids for increased absorption and retention. Our vitamin C is a unique and valuable combination of vitamin C with approximately 4% citrus bioflavonoids and plant-derived fatty acids.

Daily Requirements
The National Health Service (NHS) recommends a daily intake of 40mg of vitamin C. However, it is important to note that individual vitamin C needs may vary according to age, dietary habits, genetics and other factors.
Vitamin C should be divided into several portions throughout the day, as the body can only absorb a limited amount into its tissues at once before they reach saturation and because blood levels of the vitamin drop relatively soon after ingestion.
