How are we different?

In organic magnesium lactate, magnesium is bound to dextrorotatory lactic acid. This magnesium compound is particularly gentle and exhibits very good bioavailability. We use a magnesium lactate with a high purity level of over 98%.

For the capsule shells we use custom-made HPMC capsules that, unlike most other HPMC and pullulan capsules on the market, are 100% free from controversial additives such as carrageenans and PEG. We then package this product in environmentally friendly amber glass.

Magnesium Lactate

Magnesium lactate dihydrate is an organic compound of magnesium with dextrorotatory lactic acid (lactate). Dextrorotatory lactic acid is a natural metabolic product of humans and is also produced by lactic acid bacteria. Lactate is a component of the acid mantle of the skin as well as of the lactic acid intestinal environment, serves to nourish butyrate-forming intestinal bacteria and is an important energy supplier for the cells of the intestinal mucosa.

According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA):

Directions

Take 4 capsules with 200ml water daily, spread evently throughout the day.

Daily Requirements

The National Health Service (NHS) recommends a daily intake of 300mg for men and 270mg for women of magnesium. However, it is important to note that individual magnesium needs may vary according to age, dietary habits, genetics and other factors.
