Vitamins
Vitamins and their coenzymes can be categorised as either fat-soluble or water-soluble. The fat-soluble vitamins include vitamins A, D, E and K, and the water-soluble vitamins include the B vitamins and vitamin C.
Vitamin D
Our premium vitamin D3 is a custom-produced raw material without any additives or excipients. We offer vegetarian and vegan formulations, pure or with its cofactor vitamin K2 (K2Vital® by Kappa from Norway) with at least 99.7% all-trans MK-7, dissolved in high-quality coconut MCT oil for optimal bioavailability. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of bones, the immune system, healthy teeth and muscle function.
Vitamin K2
Vitamin K2 activates a series of proteins in the body which play a role in important metabolic processes as well as in the utilisation of calcium. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting as well as to the maintenance of healthy bones.
Vitamin A
Vitamin A is active in the body in the form of retinol, a hormone which can be synthesised by the body from beta-carotene. Vitamin A is important for the functioning of the immune system and supports healthy skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an essential vitamin which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue as well as to the normal functioning of the immune and nervous systems, the regeneration of vitamin E and the protection of cells against oxidative stress. This vitamin also increases iron absorption, supports normal collagen formation and maintains blood vessel, bone, teeth and skin function.
Vitamin E
Natural vitamin E complexes with all 8 forms of vitamin E (all 4 tocopherols + 4 tocotrienols). Vitamin E protects cells, DNA, proteins and lipids against oxidative stress.
Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is an important, fat-soluble coenzyme, involved in numerous processes in the body. Q10 can also be absorbed in very small quantities through food, but it is mainly found in foods of animal origin - particularly in tissues and organs with high energy requirements, such as the heart, liver, kidneys and muscles.
PQQ
Discovered in 2003, pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) is a vitamin-like compound found in small amounts in green peppers, tofu, kiwi and green tea.
