Antioxidants
Antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and selenium are important compounds which support the body in protecting cells against oxidative stress. Fresh foods, including algae, fruits and berries, contain a whole range of valuable supportive phytochemicals, such as carotenoids, polyphenols and flavonoids.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
Long considered a vitamin, alpha lipoic acid (ALA) – also called thioctic acid – is a sulphur-containing fatty acid. Our liposomal R-alpha lipoic acid is highly available for maximum absorption in the gut and at the cellular level due to the optimal ratio of R-alpha lipoic acid to phospholipids. The highly pure stabilised R-alpha lipoic acid capsules provide the patented active ingredient Bio Enhanced® Na-RALA from the USA can be taken on the go. Both products are free from synthetic S-alpha lipoic acid.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), also known as sleeping berry or Indian ginseng, is native to the arid regions of India. The root, containing withanolides, has been used for over 1000 years.
Astaxanthin
Our natural astaxanthin from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis is 100% original BioAstin® from Hawai'i from the global market leader with over 30 years of tradition. The Kona coast of Hawai'i receives more sunlight all year round than any other coastal location in the USA, allowing the algae to grow continuously over all 12 months of the year. Sustainable cultivation takes place in the island's pure spring water, which is purified and reused several times to conserve resources.
Coenzyme Q10
Coenzyme Q10 is an important, fat-soluble coenzyme, involved in numerous processes in the body. It can be absorbed in very small quantities through food, but it is mainly found in foods of animal origin - particularly in tissues and organs with high energy requirements, such as the heart, liver, kidneys and muscles.
Glutathione
Glutathione (GSH) is a bioidentical tripeptide composed of glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine; it is found in all human cells. Since free glutathione is easily broken down during digestion, we utilise advanced formulations such as liposomal and acetylated glutathione, which protects the sensitive peptide structure and ensures maximum bioavailability.
Green Tea Extract
Tea polyphenols, catechins and EGCG from the green tea plant (Camellia sinensis). This decaffeinated extract comes from high-quality water extraction (no solvents) and from our own production.
Bilberry
Also known as a European blueberry, the bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus/Myrtilli fructus) has been highly regarded by many renowned herbalists, including Hildegard von Bingen. Its blue colour is a result of its high proportion of secondary phytochemicals.
Turmeric & Curcumin
Due to its wealth of valuable phytochemicals, turmeric is one of the most extensively researched plants. The best known of these are the curcuminoids; however, the turmeric root also possesses other interesting compounds such as turmerosaccharides and essential oils. To preserve this natural synergy, we combine various premium extracts and high-quality turmeric powders.
Manganese
The essential trace element manganese contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal connective tissue formation, the maintenance of normal bones and the protection of cells against oxidative stress.
NAC
N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is the highly bioavailable, stable form of the semi-essential amino acid L-cysteine. NAC is a precursor of gluthathione and taurine, and L-cysteine is predominantly found in connective tissue, skin, hair, nails, muscles and bones.
OPC Grape Seed Extract
Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are highly valuable natural phytochemicals belonging to the flavonol group, consisting of polymers of catechins and epicatechins. Our OPC is extracted using only water and food-grade alcohol – no unnecessary additives.
Pycnogenol
Pycnogenol® is a natural, patented phytochemical complex from French maritime pine with a unique and well-studied active ingredient complex of OPC, taxifolin and bioflavonoids. This premium 1000:1 pine bark extract is derived from freely-growing maritime pines in the French province of Gascony.
Quercetin
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that occurs naturally in plants - this plant pigment is responsible for the colouration of flowers, while also offering protection against certain environmental influences. The blossoms of the Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica) and the seeds of the Fava d'Anta tree are particularly rich in quercetin, and it can also be found in larger amounts in onions, apples and broccoli, although these are far more difficult to extract.
Resveratrol
Resveratrol is one of the polyphenols and is concentrated in particular in the skins of numerous fruits, including red grapes. Resveratrol exists in two forms, cis- and trans-resveratrol. Only the trans form exerts its full biological and physical effect.
Selenium
The trace element selenium supports the normal function of the immune system, the protection of cells from oxidative damage, thyroid function, the maintenance of hair and nails as well as sperm formation, which could be relevant for fertility.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an essential vitamin that contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, normal psychological function, the nervous and immune systems, the regeneration of vitamin E and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It increases iron absorption and supports normal collagen formation to maintain the function of blood vessels, bones, teeth and skin.
Vitamin E
Natural vitamin E complexes with all 8 forms of vitamin E (all 4 tocopherols + 4 tocotrienols). Vitamin E protects cells, DNA, proteins and lipids against oxidative stress.
Zinc
Zinc, an essential trace element, is a component of over 300 enzymes and influences more than 3000 endogenous proteins. As a result, zinc contributes to numerous important body functions. This mineral plays a role in the maintenance of the immune system, metabolism and fertility, in cell division and DNA synthesis, as well as supporting healthy eyes, hair and nails.
