Long considered a vitamin, alpha lipoic acid (ALA), also called thioctic acid, is a sulphur-containing fatty acid. Our true liposomal formulated R-alpha lipoic acid is highly available for maximum absorption in the gut and at the cellular level due to the optimal ratio of R-alpha lipoic acid to phospholipids derived from sunflowers. The highly pure premium capsules of stabilised R-alpha lipoic acid made from the patented active ingredient Bio Enhanced^® Na-RALA from the USA can be taken on the go. Both products are free of synthetic S-alpha lipoic acid.

OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) are a substance group belonging to the flavonols, which consist of polymers of catechins and epicatechins. Quercetin is a bioflavonoid that occurs naturally in plants—this plant pigment is responsible for the colouration of flowers, while also offering protection against certain environmental influences. The blossoms of the Japanese pagoda tree (Sophora japonica) and the seeds of the Fava d'Anta tree are particularly rich in quercetin, and it can also be found in larger amounts in onions, apples and broccoli, although these are far more difficult to extract.

Resveratrol is one of the polyphenols and is concentrated in particular in the skins of numerous fruits, including red grapes. Resveratrol exists in two forms, cis- and trans-resveratrol. Only the trans form exerts its full biological and physical effect.
